Water pollution is the contamination of water environments like rivers, lakes, oceans or groundwater.

Endangered Species
An endangered species can be defined as species that are very likely to become extinct in the near future.
The number of endangered species has dramatically increased over the past decades.
According to the IUCN, while in 1998, 1102 animals and 1197 plants have been categorized as endangered, these numbers increased to 3079 animals and 2655 plants until 2012.
If this trend continues, we will lose many species in the near future.
To mitigate this issue, governments and other institutions all over the world try to save our endangered species by measures like forbidding hunting and creating protected areas.
In the following, reasons, effects, examples and also solutions concerning the endangered species problems are discussed in detail.
Essay on Environment Pollution Effect, and Problems
The only thing that makes our planet livable out of all those eight planets is environment. Environment is a very broad term it cannot be explained into one simple sentence. To put it lightly we usually refer air when we talk about environment, and how polluted it is being with each passing day. We sometimes forget that behind all this industrial advancements there is natural resources that are being compromised.
Ocean, and river water is being contaminated killing most of the marine life, smoke emitting from vehicles is making difficult to breath for everyone, and garbage thrown out openly conducting land pollution is a serious health threat to every living being.
Pollution is not only fight for environmental lawyers, or NGO’s working for it, it is a fight that everyone has to take a part in. We all need a greener earth, clean water, and fresh air to live. We need to remember that natural resources are not infinite if we will not start to work on another plan soon we will be left with a destroyed land, no tree, water with a high dose of chemical in it, and huge deal of smog in the air.
There are people out there who are making Earth a better place to live, and fighting for environmental laws but as long as all the big corporations, and research centers will not think about another way the planet, and all the species living on it are in danger.
We can all make this environment better by even just planting a tree, or throwing our garbage in the recyclable dust bin, and even stopping someone from throwing garbage on the roads where public’s health is exposed. It is our planet, and it is our job to save it.

People always polluted their surroundings. But until now pollution was not such a serious problem. People lived in rural areas and did not produce such amount of polluting agents that would cause a dangerous situation in global scale. I do not want my family to live in polluted environment.
Fortunately, it’s not too late to solve these problems . I find many simple ways to help our planet in everyday life. We can plant trees and create parks for endangered animals.
We can recycle our wastes; persuade enterprises to stop polluting activities, because it is apparent that our careless use of fossil fuels and chemicals is destroying this planet. And it is now more than ever apparent that at the same time we are destroying our bodies and our future.

The ecology of our planet has long been under threat. Unfortunately, it is the human factor that primarily has a negative impact on the environment. But this environment is the habitat for both people and other living organisms. Man was created by nature in order to protect the planet for future generations.
At present, mankind is committed not to think about the negative effects of its activities on the environment. In turn, environmentalists are sounding the alarm and predicting a large-scale environmental catastrophe that threatens to exterminate all life on the planet.
It is worth emphasizing that a person pollutes the environment, first of all makes himself worse. Toxins and harmful chemicals that are the result of human activity have long poisoned most of the drinking water and food.
Practically all types of transport bring enormous harm to the environment, as their exhaust gases from burned fuel pollute the air. Most of the enterprises and factories are not equipped with treatment facilities, and all industrial waste goes to the atmosphere or rivers.
To improve the quality of the crop, special fertilizers are produced, which pose a serious danger to all living things. Lawless testing of nuclear and chemical weapons completely destroy the ecosystem.
Such negligent behavior of people leads to environmental disasters, such as acid precipitation, intensive melting of glaciers. There are new diseases and viruses that mutate and are not amenable to treatment. Mortality is increasing across the planet. Nature cannot self-purify, so people must understand the seriousness of the problem and avoid catastrophic situations.

Short Essay on Environment
Environment is basically our surrounding. This is one of the most important things which affect our minds, and behaviors. If you are living in a good environment you can feel your moods are good, and your attitudes towards people are positive. But you can see the difference if you are come across a person which is living in noisy environment he has definitely more mood swings than you.
Environment affects our health as well if the environment has fresh air without the air pollution of cars, and factories then you are internally fresh. Environment affects us in another way as well this we can define as the environment of company in which we are sitting, or in which we have friends this affect us a lot, mentally. If we have friends with good nature, and nurture, then we are considered as the people with good surroundings, or environment but if we are with the people who do drugs with negative nature, and nurture we are considered as the people with terrible environment.
So basically environment affects us positively, and negatively it depends on us which kind of environment we are choosing for us.

Air pollution and marine pollution are the most discussed ones. They are caused by different reasons. First of all, it is CO2 emitted by cars when they are using fuel. Second, humans add pollution to the environment through industrial activities and waste disposal. Nowadays, many countries are trying to decrease both waste disposal and CO2 emission.
Probably, the most well-known way to reduce negative effects of waste disposal is waste sorting. It means that the waste is sorted into a few categories to be recycled later. Switching to electric vehicles is one of the most promising ways to reduce CO2 emission.
Different types of pollution are interconnected. For example, marine pollution might be caused by direct discharge of industrial waste into the ocean. But pollutants could also be released from the atmosphere.
Overpopulation is another factor that causes pollution, as well as a number of other problems. Overpopulated cities tend to be the ones with the biggest ecological problems. Vehicles and people themselves add too much pollution for a relatively small area.

and some others. It is said that every 10 minutes on our planet some animal or plant dies out
. It may look as a terrible threat
and who is to blame for it? The answer is simple as ABC
. People living on the planet pay little attention to the way they treat their home.
The forests are cut down
or burnt. The trees disappearing, the quantity of oxygen
is being reduced
. Moreover the quality of air is becoming worse. It is caused by numerous chemical emissions. Industrial and nuclear waste
is the other reason for the Earth pollution. Big cities produce tons of harmful substances
and it seems to have disastrous consequences
for the planet. Our rivers and lakes are poisoned with pesticides
and fertilizers
used by farmers. So to say
, we have a great number of problems to solve as quickly as possible.
It may seem surprising but we have enough time, money and even working methods to succeed in environmental rescue
. People should pay much attention to litter recycling
, using energy-saving technologies
and other things to improve the environment. It is not so difficult to plant a tree or to put the garbage
into the bin.
So, everything is in our hands. Let’s make our planet cleaner and safer, and our issue
will thank us.
Наша планета – крохотная часть огромной неизведанной вселенной, и, возможно, единственное место, где могут обитать люди. Само собой разумеется, что мы должны заботиться о ней и защищать ее.
Сейчас Земля, конечно же, в опасности. Существует множество экологических проблем, такие как различные виды загрязнений (воздуха, воды, почвы), глобальное потепление, перенаселение и некоторые другие. Говорят, что каждые 10 минут на нашей планете вымирает вид животного или растения. Наверняка, это кажется страшной угрозой, а кто же в ответе за это? Ответ прост как дважды два четыре. Люди, живущие на планете, почти не обращают внимания на то, как они относятся к родному дому.
Леса вырубают или сжигают. Так как исчезают деревья, сокращается количество кислорода. Более того, качество воздуха становится хуже. Это вызвано многочисленными химическими выбросами. Промышленные и ядерные отходы – другая причина загрязнений на Земле. Большие города производят тонны вредных веществ, и, кажется, для планеты это имеет чудовищные последствия. Наши реки и озера загрязнены пестицидами и фермерскими удобрениями. К слову сказать, перед нами стоит огромное количество проблем, которые нужно решить как можно быстрее.
Может показаться удивительным, но у нас достаточно времени, денег и даже технологий, чтобы преуспеть в спасении окружающей среды. Людям следует уделять больше внимания переработке отходов, использованию энергосберегающих технологий и другим способам улучшения окружающей среды. Не так уж и трудно посадить дерево или выбросить мусор в урну.
Таким образом, все в наших руках. Давайте сделаем нашу планету чище и безопаснее, а наши потомки поблагодарят нас.

Ecology
Some people say that nowadays the problem of ecology is becoming more and more vital. But others consider that it is not important for people with modern technologies. And who is right? I am for the former point o view, and now I will try to explain why.
Firstly, there are a lot of big cities in the world such as New York, Tokyo, Beijing, and Moscow. These cities pollute a lot. There are some kinds of pollution: water pollution, air pollution, and nuclear pollution. We breathe dirty air, drink dirty water, and eat dirty fruits and vegetables. So it harms our health. Secondly, there are a lot of nuclear stations all over the world such as Chernobyl or Fukushima, which became dangerous objects because of radiation.
People who worked at these stations were not careful. So these stations are destroyed now. They are polluting a big territory. Thirdly, our world needs much fuel for various machines, technologies, various branches of science and everyday life. And the extraction of minerals harms nature and changes the landscape around the place of extraction.
But some people think that nowadays we have a lot of brands – new technologies that will help us in future. They say that these technologies will help us with hunger, unemployment, dangerous kinds of diseases such as plague and cancer. With the help of nanotechnologies people will get new materials, which can be useful for the army, medicine, science. With a great technological progress the humanity will conquer space. All in all, people will defeat death.
I absolutely disagree with these people. Of course, it would be a great success for humanity. But these «dreams» need a lot of recourses which are not endless. And it is a long process to invent all these things and spread them all over the world.
In conclusion, I would like to stress that our world is very fragile, and we should take care of it because we are a part of this world. Without beautiful nature, useful plants, and animals humanity will die out. Don’t you agree with me?
